Jane first joined International Aerospace Law & Policy Group in 2020 for an internship, only to return in 2021 while she was completing her studies in a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.), specialising in International and Comparative Law, and a Bachelor of International Relations. Having recently completed her studies, Jane is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in preparation for admission as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland. Jane is passionate about the emerging role of space.

 

Whilst completing her studies, Jane contributed to the organisation Jus Ad Astra as a Research Assistant. Jus Ad Astra advocates for the intersection between human rights and outer space. Jane has published multiple articles on human rights in outer space, including equitable access, right to emergency housing, torture in outer space, and retroactive criminal laws. She is passionate about space law and addressing future challenges in outer space.

 

Jane is proud to be a part of a team who is extremely passionate about the aviation industry and providing professional advice and assistance to a variety of stakeholders within it including airline employees, passengers, aviation organisations and individuals in both local and international contexts. Jane hopes to use her role to positively contribute to the future of Australia’s space industry.
